Zorn's 80th Anniversary LogoZorn’s of Bethpage Celebrating 80 years on Long Island!

Peter Zorn was one of the largest growers of eggs, chickens, and turkeys on Long Island before opening his doors to the public in 1940. He was the first to offer rotisserie chickens cooked over an open flame and was truly a pioneer in retail take-out food! Eight decades later, still family-owned and operated, Zorn’s of Bethpage uses original recipes, prepared with the same quality and pride that they were 80 years ago!

There is nothing artificial in their food – no preservatives or artificial flavors in any homemade choices. Award-winning Skinless Southern Fried Chicken is a customer favorite, along with their famous ribs, juicy rotisserie chicken, and homemade sides!

Many traditions include Zorn’s of Bethpage catered meals! From their plentiful Turkey Feast and Elegant dining packages to Backyard Picnics and Signature Displays. An extensive catering menu provides options for gatherings, both large and small.

Zorn’s of Bethpage is still in the same location at 4321 Hempstead Turnpike in Bethpage, and not only are they celebrating their 80th anniversary, but they also celebrated one year in their brand new building in May 2020.

The new building was built with sanitation and safety protocols already in place, so when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, they were able to accommodate necessary changes quickly and remained opened. Along with increasing sanitation protocols and requiring masks for everyone, they responded by offering touch-less curbside pickup and reduced minimums on catering packages to accommodate smaller crowds.

Zorn’s of Bethpage is led by Merrill Zorn. She loves her community and is proud to be a part of a business that gives generously. She is dedicated to charities and local organizations and is an active member of multiple boards and business associations. Merrill always says, “I’m the luckiest person in the world… I love what I do, my co-workers are my family, and our customers are amazing. Our name stands for family tradition and quality…I am so fortunate to be a part of that”.
